Creaform Engineering, a division of Creaform and Quebec’s leader for complete engineering services, is proud to announce the expansion of its Laval office to meet the growing demand for its design, engineering, simulation, as well as product development services..

Initially set up to support the mechanical engineering activities of a major customer in the Montreal area, the Creaform Engineering Laval office has diversified its service offering over time and now has numerous customers in the region. In addition to mechanical design, the company now offers services in industrial design, electrical and electronic engineering, automation, numerical simulation (FEA/CFD), project management, and it has also recently announced a new offering in dimensional management. Creaform Engineering stands out today for its ability to deliver projects of any size and complexity, always with the same commitment of efficiency and results.

“ To help accelerate our customers’ successful product development and improve their time-to-market is our very purpose,” says Denis Daigle, Director at Creaform Engineering. “With the steady growth we experienced in recent years, the expansion of the Laval office became necessary to ensure proper support of our current customer activities, but also to continue to support new projects in a more comprehensive manner. The imperative to innovate and develop new and improved products remains at the heart of the success of our Quebec companies, and we are determined to help them in their current and future challenges. ”

Denis Daigle also highlights recent work done for The Lion Electric Company, a Quebec-based manufacturer specializing in electric bus and truck development, as an example of the type of large-scale projects that its teams can undertake. Creaform Engineering has been involved in several of the design stages of Lion’s brand new all-electric urban truck, the Lion8.

“ This collaboration demonstrates the expertise and capacity we can provide our customers to help them achieve their goals more quickly. ”

In addition to engineering services, the Laval offices also house metrology services associated with Creaform’s 3D scanning products and solutions, as well as a state-of-the-art metrology laboratory.
